PixPress is an on-device photo compression app. This policy explains what PixPress does with data.
Photos and files
- PixPress compresses photos on your device.
- PixPress does not upload your photos to our servers.
- Compressed files are saved to a location you choose on your device.
Data we do not collect
PixPress does not ask for or collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, or contacts.
Third-party services
PixPress uses the following Google services:
- Google AdMob (to show ads)
- Firebase Analytics (to understand app usage in aggregate)
- Firebase Crashlytics (to diagnose crashes and improve stability)
These services may collect limited device and app information such as:
- device identifiers (e.g., Advertising ID, depending on your device settings)
- app interactions (e.g., screens viewed, feature usage)
- diagnostic information (e.g., crash logs, device model, OS version)
PixPress does not receive or store your photos through these services.
Your choices
- You can manage ad personalization and device advertising settings in your Google/Android settings.
- You can disable notifications in system settings (if enabled in the app).
